Stay at home London Walk

In 2020 and 2021 the COVID 19 pandemic prevented us from holding Unlock London walks in real time and space. Instead we set up 'virtual walks' that could be done from home during the Lockdowns. Each virtual walk is in 6-7 stages, originally provided daily through the week in which the walks would normally have taken place. We tried to include as many of the usual elements that you would find in an Unlock London walk, as well as some extra features; including refelections, activities, and prayers for each stage. Both of these virtual walks are available below and can be done from home at any time by anyone who can use a computer. We'd like you to enjoy them for their own sake, partciularly at times when you are stuck indoors for any reason, and we also invite you to either donate to Unlock because you have enjoyed them and want to support our wider work, or to ask friends to sponsor you to complete each stage.

Support Unlock with Give as you live

We are dependent on the income from the Unlock London walk for around 50% of our annual funding, and without that income Unlock will not be able to continue its valuable work; so we really need you to donate anyway; just as if the 2021 walk were still happening. We hope that the online version of the walk will encourage you to do that.

Please note the Unlock is not eligible for any government and most charitable funding streams because they specifically exclude religion based charities. You, our direct donors, are our only source of funding.

The 2021 walk, in the Lambeth, Southwark and City of London areas; is offered here as 'Virtual' walk.

Unlock's 2021 'STAY AT HOME' London walk activity pack has six sections on six topics.

It includes pictures, activities, prayers, stories, information about the churches on the route and Bible reflections. We hope that you will enjoy it and then donate to Unlock just as you would have done if you had been out walking the London Streets for us, if not more so! Unlock needs the funding that you provide more than ever. Following COVID 19 the poorest communities which were hit hardest and those are the places where Unlock's work is now the most essentail! We are relying on you to make that possible.
